Corona, CA (June 21, 2016) – Omega Products International, a national leader in stucco systems and finishes, will showcase its industry leading products at PCBC, the homebuilding industry’s largest West Coast conference and exhibition on June 22-23, from the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
Omega Products, booth #923, will display its energy efficient wall systems, sealers, and finishes to a diverse audience that includes builders, architects, specification consultants, developers, suppliers, and investors.
“We anticipate Omega RapidPrime, one of our latest products, to garner significant attention at our booth,” said Karine Galla, Product Line Marketing Director for the Southern California-based Omega Products. “It is a high pH resistant priming agent, meaning you don’t have to wait for the pH to drop to 10 to apply the primer and then the finish. RapidPrime can go over when the pH is as high as 13.”
With RapidPrime, the finish coat is applied sooner, which means the scaffolding can be taken down earlier – saving money on construction costs. The advanced priming agent is ideal for use on stucco, masonry veneer, concrete, and drywall & gypsum sheathing.
In addition to marketing its stucco-based products, the Omega Products booth will also feature items from Valentino, the company’s high-end, Venetian decorative plaster business.
Omega will display its energy efficient products and systems such as Diamond Wall Insulating One Coat System, its all purpose plastering cement Super Cement, Diamond Wall Three Coat with Crack Isolation, and Valentino Venezia, Bel Marmo, and Tadelakt plaster finishes.
Omega RapidPrime
RapidPrime is an enhanced formulation with a brand new feature: it is a high pH resistant primer that allows an earlier application of the finish. The finish coat is done sooner, thus decreasing construction costs. It offers excellent efflorescence and alkali resistance on cement-based surfaces with a pH up to 13, such as new stucco, concrete, and masonry.
Diamond Wall One Coat Insulating System
The Diamond Wall Insulating One Coat System includes a layer of foam board insulation that may be applied over open wall framing or optional sheathing. The foam board greatly increases the R-value of the wall assembly, which improves the energy efficiency of the building.
Super Cement
Super Cement is a portland cement-based stucco that has an additional mixture of proprietary ingredients that increase the workability and early strength of the product. Super Cement meets the requirements of ASTM C926 and is an excellent alternative to plastic cement or portland cement with lime. Super Cement is available either as fibered or non-fibered.
Diamond Wall Three Coat w/ Crack Isolation
Diamond Wall Three Coat is a factory prepared blend of portland cement, chopped fibers, and proprietary ingredients field mixed with sand, water, and an optional admix. Originally developed for one coat stucco, DWC meets or exceeds three coat stucco requirements and produces a superior wall that can have a finish coat applied in as little as 24-hours after the brown coat.
